We had three new people at this week's meeting, where we were Training Evangelists at Bethsaida. We went through the prophet school, the hospital and affliction, but got hung up at Job. We had some unusual and delicious sopapilla cheesecake dessert afterwards.

Happy Anniversary. We celebrated one year this week at our meeting. We finished the Interlude Visit to Jerusalem with the Feast of Spiritual Goodness. Afterwards we broke our short fast and feasted on a large Anniversary Cookie.

We finished the four eventful days at Capernaum, and had much discussion of Jesus' healing 683 people. After some deep contemplation, we mulled it over with brownies. We will be at Jotapata next week.

We had a good crowd to finish up the apostles time in the Decapolis, and continued on into Four Days at Capernaum. Jesus showed his fishing expertise as we had several good discussions which continued into his teaching at the synagogue. We finished with a centering prayer, the believer's prayer, and then brownies. I think they have less calories after meditation. They certainly taste better.

We continued through Samaria and ended with a favorite section, Teachings about Prayer and Worship. We had a discussion which continued into the next paper and the Discourse on Prayer. We even had a chocolate chip cookie realization example, which of course was followed after class by real chocolate chip cookies.

We had a smaller crowd as we continued Going Through Samaria as Jesus taught the apostles about self-mastery and the need for diversion and relaxation. We finished with the woman at Sychar, which is a tremendous story from many perspectives. Jill made some more lemon wreath cookies with a festive 'snow' sprinkling.

(And I noticed we read the first selection from Tom's Compare for today, on page 1609)
