Jean finished up her study on the fruits of the spirit before class was over, so she remained as moderator and we started an indepth study of the apostles, reading each bio and also Jesus' personal remarks to them at the last supper and during his resurrrection time on Urantia in Galilee.  We had a facinating study of these spiritual heroes although we grieved and puzzled over Judas' demise.

We will begin on Simon Zelotes next week and continue on around the last supper table always amazed at how well Jesus knew these frail yet well trained future spiritual world changers who so well perfected their faith in Jesus and utilized the promised Comforter to the spiritual heights of growth and service.

Eight of us enjoyed this study in spite of it being Labor Day weekend.  Come join us in power and love next week and use some of that spiritual energy to be of loving service to our dear friend Terry Jackson who is laid up with a couple of broken legs! What a sad accident she had.  Prayers and love to you dear heart.

Jean Conley took over as the moderator and did a topical study about the Fruits of the Spirit.  She had her mother intersperse Parallels  from the bibleabout similar topics.  10 of us were definitely spiritually edified by such ruminations.  The fruits are the substance of the Supreme.  His growth depends onour spiritual development of these fruits.

Jean almost finished, so we talked her into doing another week of study on this intriguing topic.  Thanks Jean.

The celebration of Jesuscontinued through a long weekend of activities and culminated in the regular Sunday Night Class. David Kantor joined us and there were 13 of us to study Paper 181. We enjoyed Jesus' last words to his apostles and followed their lives in other parts of the book. It was disappointing when class ended because we did not get to go through all the apostles. Oh well, we are on our own.

Jean Conley has agreed to be the moderator starting next Sunday. She will have a topical study for us. Thanks Jean!

Come next week as we begin another year after the 2016th birthday of Jesus.

We finished our study of Papers 179 and 180 and are now all the more ready for David's presentations this coming weekend. Its hard to believe that August 21 is just around the corner.

There were 13 of us tonight, and Jesus really went to great lengths to get his Apostles to see what he was talking about, but it was difficult for them to overcome their upbringing. We are so lucky to have Jesus' direct words and the interpretations of Midwayers to help us understand it better

Next Sunday will be the culmination of a very active Jesus Birthday weekend. No doubt we will study something relating to Jesus, but the subject matter is yet to be revealed. It will be a very active week. Tuesday night is the regular meeting at Charlene and Veldon's, Wednesday Night is at Unity and then the marathon weekend coming up. No one can complain that they don't have enough study time with other readers.

Jesus called his apostles friends at the last supper and exhorted them to love others as Jesus loved them. A high calling even for the apostles.

13 of us enjoyed Paper 179 and we started on his final admonitions in Paper 180 in preparation for David Kantor's talk on Jesus' birthday. We had a great discussion about a variety of items in these papers. Very enlightening!

Next week we may finish Paper 180 in time for Jesus' birthday on August 21st. Come join us for our symbolic rondevous with the Master as he WILL be actually present.

7 lucky Urantia Book readers gathered as Michael finished his stint taking us through the enthralling papers on the magnificent and blessed gift of the Thought Adjusters. We finished paper 112 with the amazing recital of what happens to us after death and the detail the Solitary Messenger gives us is really abundant and teeming with new and exciting information about our eventual transformation and induction into eternal life with our final fusion with the most exalted and majestic reality in the universe—even a fragment of God Himself!

Big Bill of Bernice showed up and promises to come to Jesus' Birthday and sing and fellowship with us. It was great to see Jeralie too.

Since Michael is done and David Kantor has let us know that the main text of his speech is coming from Papers 179 and 180, Tom has elected to moderate a study on these papers until Jesus' Birthday. We started it and are getting ready to read about the washing of the Apostles feet.
