39.4.10  4. Quickeners of Morality. On the mansion worlds you begin to learn self-government for the benefit of all concerned. Your mind learns co-operation, learns how to plan with other and wiser beings. On the system headquarters the seraphic teachers will further quicken your appreciation of cosmic morality - of the interactions of liberty and loyalty.
 
 
110.3.10  4. Joyful acceptance of cosmic citizenship - honest recognition of your progressive obligations to the Supreme Being, awareness of the interdependence of evolutionary man and evolving Deity. This is the birth of cosmic morality and the dawning realization of universal duty.
 
 
117.4.8  The temporal relation of man to the Supreme is the foundation for cosmic morality, the universal sensitivity to, and acceptance of, duty. This is a morality which transcends the temporal sense of relative right and wrong; it is a morality directly predicated on the self-conscious creature's appreciation of experiential obligation to experiential Deity. Mortal man and all other finite creatures are created out of the living potential of energy, mind, and spirit existent in the Supreme. It is upon the Supreme that the Adjuster-mortal ascender draws for the creation of the immortal and divine character of a finaliter. It is out of the very reality of the Supreme that the Adjuster, with the consent of the human will, weaves the patterns of the eternal nature of an ascending son of God.

Friends,

Since Larry Geis was going to be up in this neck of the woods, how delighted 16 of us were that he agreed to give us an update on about every activity going on in the Urantia Movement today. Jerry and Bibi Pando graciously hosted the event. We brought Pot luck snacks, and they were as delicious as Larry's Presentation was insightful. Great to see old friends such as Harry and Rachel there.

Sorry you missed it if you weren't there. We had a wonderful time.

Fall Forum Highlights 10/25/08

Friends,

We met at Unity church, and in spite of amusement madness we had about 20 people there to enjoy Tamara Wood of Chicago speak to us on service. The talk was preceded by an amazing orchestra of youth (and me, though they made me feel young) directed by Susan Mogilka. Jeremy sung, Monique and Kelly played Mirimba, Nicholas on bass, Brendan on drums, Elliott on Violin, Me on guitar, Tristan on piano, and Levon on injured reserve (broken collarbone).

Good snacks and fellowship followed. There was a cookout that night, but we couldn't go. I hear it was nice though.

Readers of the Awesome Urantia Book,

Please remember to join us this Saturday at the Unity Church of OKC, 5603 N.W. 41st,  
for our 2008 Fall Forum;  welcoming Tamra Wood, a longtime, dedicated 
Urantia Book student from Chicago, whose giving a workshop on "Spiritual 
Living."  Our events start at the church at 1:30, then carry on at 6:30 
p.m. at the home of Charlene & Veldon Morrow, 13517 McRaines Road in 
Edmond.  After Tamra's talk we will gather in Edmond for a good old 
fashioned cook-out, so bring your favorite side-dish, a dessert, chips 
or beverages; The Morrows will _*GRILL*_ the rest!
